3 month ago, we got a 2023 Grecale. A month ago, the battery was completely dead the dealer replaced the battery, and the battery died this morning and it is at the dealer bow for service.

We have the same problem with our Grecale.
The battery was dead completely and the dealer replaced with a new battery last month.
It happened again yesterday, and my car is at the dealer for check up now.
Maserati should get together to solve this problem immediately and recall all the Grecale to fix it.
Sorry about your battery issue. Which trim do you have (GT, Modena, Trofeo)?

i think i have the dreaded dead battery issue as well. i tried trickle charging it overnight and when i woke up i got an error that said 'bad battery' on my trickle charger and nothing happens when i try to start it (no electronics or cranking). i tried jumping it with my two other cars and it refuses to start or even turn over. When i connect it to my other car's battery all the electronics turn on by the nothing happens when i hit the start button. I'm guessing i'll need to tow it to the dealership...any ideas on how to switch the vehicle into neutral? I don't trust the tow company will know how to do it and I can't seem to do it unless the car is started...plus the manual doesn't say anything useful about it.

{Well software update and new hogher output battery fixed ours - all good and what a fun car......

You mentioned connecting to your other car's battery....did you mean via jumper cables? Or did you swap batteries entirely? As an alternative to having the vehicle towed, I would consider swapping with a new battery myself (ideally the dealership would provide a replacement under warranty). The battery is easily accessible from the rear of the vehicle. I've disconnected it for a month while away on a trip before and reconnected it with no issues whatsover. There is a short description in the manual explaining how to reinitialize the car and MIA which is pretty straightforward from what I recall. No special "magic" programming with an expensive tool is required.
yes, i used jumper cables...didn't swap battery. i tried both jumping it from under the hood and directly on the battery in the rear compartment (using two different vehicles). That said, i bought a really powerful battery booster for amazon earlier this week (i.e. NOCO BoostX with 4250miliamp power) and once i hooked it up, the Grecale started right up. NOTE: I did need to put the booster in override mode as the voltage was so low that it didn't really recognize it was even connected to a battery. Once it started i drove it over to the dealer and they'll hopefully swap out the battery and it seems defective. Still seems crazy that a regular 12v battery jump start wouldn't work...i think the Grecale needs a really big punch to jump start it...

Sorry to hear your having problems. I'm not sure if you are trying to jump direct onto the battery or not ? Just as a pointer I was told that you should jump start the car only from the direct connection under the bonnet/hood, and that this direct connection livens up the electrical system, haven't actually tried myself but that is what I was told by my dealer should I ever have an issue.
yeah, i did it from both locations...first under hood but when that didn't work, i tried the direct approach in the rear compartment...per my other repsonse to Synase...i just needed to use a powerful portable battery booster and that did the trick...crazy that a 4 liter engine needed a big boost...probably due to all the electronics as well? regardless, that Grecale battery doesn't really look like a standard battery...probably is a special high output kind...

Actualy my car was parked for exactly 8 days. Started without ptoblems today :)
Just started my Trofeo after it sat for 11 days. Started right up.

They have updated the owners manual to say the key must be further than 6 meters from the car when parked. This seems to be what’s causing the issue.
Unfortunately if you use a parking garage, for example in a place where many people live - this is called a "city" - the parking attendants might not care to deal with my fancy car's ridiculous battery problems.

Welcome to the forum "LiaPark"

Unfortunately it's not that easy for Maserati as it's not happening on all cars. I have personally had no battery issues and have in the past left my car at a London air port parking for over 16 days and returned to no problems and car started fine. One of the issues of battery drain is not storing keys when not in use at least 16 metres away from the car, but not sure if this could actually be your problem, but do hope your situations is resolved ASAP for you.
16 meters? nowhere in my house is 16 meters from the garage

Hey everyone
Just received my grecale and unfortunatelt, I’m having to jump start it frequently as it dies overnight every few days. I’m also getting an SOS call battery failure light on the dashboard. Is anyone else having this issue? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Hi all! Very interesting pieces about problems concerning new Grecale as I was seriously contemplating buying this beautiful car. I had two Quatroports in the past and I feel the Grecale, in all its beauty, would be the car when Maserati finally got its shit together but apparently I was incorrect. Damn to bad.
