I think they're only removing that functionality in the U.S.

I don't think they'll remove it. That's standard on other Maserati models as well. I got a 2023 Ghibli loaner and it was the same...
They have announced it’s getting removed in a recall.

Who ever designed the infotainment system and seats in this car needs to be shot?

CarPlay doesn’t work. Basically after switching to wifi for CarPlay- the system would not hold connection via wifi. Hence the CarPlay can’t respond via the touchscreen.

touchscreen barely works in none CarPlay mode.

everything about this car feels like a cheap Chrysler.

spent last 3 hours resetting the factory system.

worse car ever
There's definitely at least one major software update for the infotainment system, probably more, so definitely worth checking if your car has had all the software updates applied. My own experience is that the system is now very snappy, no lag whatsoever. I do use wireless Android auto not CarPlay, but I think there was an earlier thread that said there was a CarPlay fix.

And as others have said, there is a new wireless charger part. Your dealer should swap this over under warranty if you have issues.

Stick with it. I had a few annoying issues with my car initially, but my dealer has been brilliant and everything seems to be working perfectly now (touch wood)! 🙂

A couple of thoughts:

- I also had similar issues, caused (in my case) when my car was very dirty! It does sound like a dirty sensor to me, rather than anything more serious. By the way, do you have air suspension? Some of these faults can be triggered if the air suspension is stopped 'half way' between height settings.

- There is an update available for the software for the Body Control Module. Has your car had the update(s)?

Always found it weird that my Grecale doesn't have the ability to display my Google Maps directions in the cluster, as my previous Stelvio (which is, after all, very similar, tech-wise) did have it. 🙄
