It seems I've found a simple and very inexpensive solution to the problem of abnormally fast discharging batteries in Grecale due to their close placement to the parked vehicle: get one of the many Faraday signal-blocking bags/pouches for FOBs, car keys and cell phones available online for as low as $8-$30. Most are well-made and properly sized for Grecale keys. I think Maserati should look into providing such signal blocking storage cases for its cars.

We haven't had battery issues for at least 5 months after software updates and purchasing a Faraday key storage box (I think we paid about $10 for it).
