Battery issue?

You mentioned connecting to your other car's battery....did you mean via jumper cables? Or did you swap batteries entirely? As an alternative to having the vehicle towed, I would consider swapping with a new battery myself (ideally the dealership would provide a replacement under warranty). The battery is easily accessible from the rear of the vehicle. I've disconnected it for a month while away on a trip before and reconnected it with no issues whatsover. There is a short description in the manual explaining how to reinitialize the car and MIA which is pretty straightforward from what I recall. No special "magic" programming with an expensive tool is required.
yes, i used jumper cables...didn't swap battery. i tried both jumping it from under the hood and directly on the battery in the rear compartment (using two different vehicles). That said, i bought a really powerful battery booster for amazon earlier this week (i.e. NOCO BoostX with 4250miliamp power) and once i hooked it up, the Grecale started right up. NOTE: I did need to put the booster in override mode as the voltage was so low that it didn't really recognize it was even connected to a battery. Once it started i drove it over to the dealer and they'll hopefully swap out the battery and it seems defective. Still seems crazy that a regular 12v battery jump start wouldn't work...i think the Grecale needs a really big punch to jump start it...

Sorry to hear your having problems. I'm not sure if you are trying to jump direct onto the battery or not ? Just as a pointer I was told that you should jump start the car only from the direct connection under the bonnet/hood, and that this direct connection livens up the electrical system, haven't actually tried myself but that is what I was told by my dealer should I ever have an issue.
yeah, i did it from both locations...first under hood but when that didn't work, i tried the direct approach in the rear compartment...per my other repsonse to Synase...i just needed to use a powerful portable battery booster and that did the trick...crazy that a 4 liter engine needed a big boost...probably due to all the electronics as well? regardless, that Grecale battery doesn't really look like a standard battery...probably is a special high output kind...

i think i have the dreaded dead battery issue as well. i tried trickle charging it overnight and when i woke up i got an error that said 'bad battery' on my trickle charger and nothing happens when i try to start it (no electronics or cranking). i tried jumping it with my two other cars and it refuses to start or even turn over. When i connect it to my other car's battery all the electronics turn on by the nothing happens when i hit the start button. I'm guessing i'll need to tow it to the dealership...any ideas on how to switch the vehicle into neutral? I don't trust the tow company will know how to do it and I can't seem to do it unless the car is started...plus the manual doesn't say anything useful about it.
