Hey everyone
Just received my grecale and unfortunatelt, I’m having to jump start it frequently as it dies overnight every few days. I’m also getting an SOS call battery failure light on the dashboard. Is anyone else having this issue? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
How terrible and heart breaking to read another post about Grecale battery issue..
My brand new Grecale‘s battery died 4 weeks after purchasing the car. A new battery was installed then.
Did not have any other battery issues till a year later and after Maserati serviced the car. The car was taken back and stayed at the dealership for 2 weeks. Another new battery was installed. 5 days later the battery died again. The car was taken back to the dealership for the 3rd time. They cannot figure out the issue, and it is still at the dealership.

We kept the key fob quite far from the car, so it is not the proximity of the key fob that is causing the dead battery With our car.

We are very frustrated that Maserati is not investigating the matter more vigorously. All they did is have these ladies from customer care replying with useless empathy to our posts. I have to say, my dealership service manager is amazing, and is taking the matter more seriously than Maserati.

Welcome to the forum.

There has been many owners that have had this issue in the past, one of the main reasons along with others was storing your keys/fob to close to the car when parked up. Many have had software updates and I believe all if not most no longer suffer.

I'm sure it should be OK considering it was at the dealers for 4 weeks and obviously parked up there so they should know whether it is Ok or not.
I had 3 updates and this has not solved the issue, battery kept dying. Unless here in the USA, the dealerships are not installing the right updates.
