Battery issue?

The battery can last for a while (at least while new and fully charged). I've owned this Modena Grecale for just over a year. I just returned home after 24 days away on vacation. The car was parked and not plugged into any charger the entire time and it still started up right away with no issue. The 48v hybrid battery (which assists the gas motor) was showing the same 50% state of charge as when I parked the car before my trip.

Where I usually park my car, there is no plug outlet nearby. However, just prior to leaving for my trip, I moved it somewhere so I could plug in a charger temporarily to charge up the 12V battery to full.

i think i have the dreaded dead battery issue as well. i tried trickle charging it overnight and when i woke up i got an error that said 'bad battery' on my trickle charger and nothing happens when i try to start it (no electronics or cranking). i tried jumping it with my two other cars and it refuses to start or even turn over. When i connect it to my other car's battery all the electronics turn on by the nothing happens when i hit the start button. I'm guessing i'll need to tow it to the dealership...any ideas on how to switch the vehicle into neutral? I don't trust the tow company will know how to do it and I can't seem to do it unless the car is started...plus the manual doesn't say anything useful about it.
You mentioned connecting to your other car's battery....did you mean via jumper cables? Or did you swap batteries entirely? As an alternative to having the vehicle towed, I would consider swapping with a new battery myself (ideally the dealership would provide a replacement under warranty). The battery is easily accessible from the rear of the vehicle. I've disconnected it for a month while away on a trip before and reconnected it with no issues whatsover. There is a short description in the manual explaining how to reinitialize the car and MIA which is pretty straightforward from what I recall. No special "magic" programming with an expensive tool is required.

Just got my Maserati back... there is an issue with the battery and software update that has to be done... so far she's driving amazing!
Hey @kevinablacksingh, glad you were able to get your battery issue resolved. Do you have any further details you can share? What version of software were you upgraded to? I'm also in Canada and am curious what might be needed.
