We just acquired a new Maserati Grecale Modena on Friday and then just had every software module updated today, including the MIA.

I am coming from both 2022 and 2023 Land Rover Defenders. In those cars, I could use the in-car WiFi hotspot and wireless CarPlay. The phone could connect directly to the infotainment system (called Pivi Pro) for wireless CarPlay and then use the hotspot (via AT&T [2022]or T-Mobile [2023]) for unlimited wireless backhaul.

I have signed up for the AT&T hotspot in the Grecale. When I try to connect to the hotspot, my phone tells me it will disconnect wireless CarPlay.

Is this expected behavior? You cannot use wireless CarPlay AND the in-car hotspot at the same time?

I used the free trial to get in car WiFi. Yep, caused issues. The cost in the U.K. is expensive. Not worth the cost alone. Cheaper to use data on cell contract. I tried out of interest and Alexa. Not for me.
