Well Day 10 of ownership was eventful and definitely one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. My new Grecale totally completely shut down on the highway in Atlanta rush hour. I was blocking 2 lanes of traffic when it completely died after a pop/boom in the engine. Grecale owners let me tell you when this car dies there is NO way to put it in Neutral and thank God I opened my window before it completely died because the windows and doors were not operational. I literally had to climb out of the window on a very, very busy highway to get out of the car, had I not opened the window before total meltdown THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO WAY TO GET OUT OF THIS CAR! It has been towed to dealer and I will NEVER drive this car again. I will cut my losses after 10 days of ownership because I will never drive this car again.
(Positive part- I got to see the UGA Bulldogs 2 time National Champs drive by while I was stranded and I got to ride in a police car)

If you see this light come on, just know you don’t have much time like less than a minute before it all goes down . Good Luck all!

Wow, what a horrible experience! Glad you are safe and that you were able to exit the vehicle. Can you provide us with more details of this frightening experience?
Not good and glad you are OK. That same similar thing happened to a friend of mine in his car a year or so ago. That was down to stolen vehicle tracker software, apparently the tracker company had a software issue witch picked and treated his car as stolen and shut everything down. Did the emergency exit lever in door pocket not work either ?, this lever is supposed to over ride everything even with no power and open door.
Scary indeed!!!! Glad you are OK. Would be great to get more details to be „prepared“ in case this happens to any of us on the forum.

The light you show is an amber one for the suspension, so I do not understand how that could have “killed“ all of the systems.
And as @EDZ said did the emergency handle not respond? (I just realized they are only on the front so what happens to children in the back?)

Glad to hear you're ok @edS! Sorry to hear about this with your Grecale. If you find out what the issue was with your car please let us know.

The same exact thing happened to my 2023 Grecale. My vehicle is currently in transit to the Maserati dealership for servicing. What did they determine was the cause of the vehicle to lose 100% power?

@drcmortgage and @edS: any news or further explanation on the root cause of your Grecale’s failure? Just to be aware of it if any of us come across the warning signs your experienced before the car lost power? Much appreciated and glad no further harm came to anyone!

I was informed battery failure. Vehicle is a hybrid. In addition to a few recall items from the manufacturer
Thanks @drcmortgage . So the 48V hybrid battery. Not the 12V “normal” battery?
