Time line for 2024 order

Hello,

I am very interested in purchasing a Gracale. I was given a loaner last weekend to test it out with my family. I agree with some of the issues others have raised already, ie door locking sound, which is so annoying. I also think the turn indicator sound it way to high!!

My question to the group is, does anyone have an idea of when I can order a 2024. I usually like to wait a year, let them sort out the bugs before buying. I was at the dealership yesterday only to be told that in order to get a 2024 I would likely have to wait until 2024 before ordering for a later 2024 delivery.

I was always under the impression you could order late in 2023, September, October to get a 2024. I want to trust the dealer, but I've just never heard of that.

Any input and/or advice would be great.

Welcome to the forum asc19.

The dealer could well be correct. Considering the Grecale only started being delivered in small quantities late July 2022 to a limited number of countries, the US only since January this year and some countries are only just receiving their first cars, I would say at a guess that maybe they will allow all countries to start getting deliveries for a few months first, which will be towards the very end of this year anyway.

what city you are in? I believe Canada did not start taking delivery of the MY2023 until January even though there were preorders. Maybe that has had a ripple effect on the timeline for MY2024 as well.

If you look on Maserati’s website, there are 2099 Grecale’s available in the USA so I can’t see them building 2024’s until 2024. As a current owner, my recommendation is you wait a year and see if all the issues have been resolved. My car was bought at the beginning of April and as of today, it’s been in the service center for 36 straight days. The major issue is the key and keyless entry system. The beeping is unbelievably annoying but the whole system just doesn’t work properly. Even the Grecale loaner I have has issues with the key system as well as the front collision warning system.
