That's crazy. They just don't provide a loaner and expect you to go weeks without a car? I've been considering a Grecale but all these issues and now also knowing they don't provide loaners while the car is in the shop is deterring me
Welcome to the forum, but sorry it's because you have problems and wishing to air your anger at Maserati, but indirectly that's what forums are for.We have had our Grecale a while. We’re supposed to be the first one delivered in Florida. After three days car was towed due to completely dead electrical system. Was in Pensacola Maserati for about 6 weeks before Maserati came up with the “fix”. Had it back about 3 weeks all seemed ok except wireless phone charger never worked. Then this week dead again in garage, towed back to dealership. No loaner provided. $92k paid and poor support. Service Manager quit. Now we have been told it will be at least 4 days before they can even look at our SUV. Sound like a premium brand? Our third Maserati but probably our last!
stay away from this model until all these “bugs” worked out.
Thanks for the welcome to the forum. I have contacted all those you list multiple times. The Maserti cares was more interested if the tow truck actually made it here and delivered the car to Maserati of Pensacola.Welcome to the forum, but sorry it's because you have problems and wishing to air your anger at Maserati, but indirectly that's what forums are for.
I feel for you having these problems and yes its not good, but reading your post I would say a lot is also down to your dealer, who you should also name and shame. Firstly it appears they have staffing issues and a loaner car is partly down to the dealer, they should have loaners to assist their customers. I Had the same issue with a Porsche dealer never having loaners so I changed dealer and never had that issue again, chose your dealer wisely more for the after care than sales.
May I suggest you contact "Maserati Cares" a member on this forum, US based and you have direct contact with Maserati rather than just the 3rd party dealer, hopefully this may help you some more and to a quicker resolution.
Anyway so sorry you are having these problems and good luck in getting things sorted ASAP.
At Pensacola Maserati now. Their solution is to install a battery tender and plug car into 110 volt outlet. Anyone else been told this? Not acceptable to us!Thanks for the welcome to the forum. I've also had a couple instances where the alarm was triggered unexpectedly after turning off the engine. It's infrequent so I have not been able to confirm the exact conditions that trigger it to happen. However, I have noticed that if I drive somewhere with a passenger, turn off the engine and exit the vehicle temporarily (e.g. for 10 minutes) AND leave the fob in the car with my passenger who stays in the vehicle, sometimes it seems to arm the alarm. I think it happens if the passenger locks the vehicle using the button on the arm rest of the door (even with the key fob still in the car). Did you happen to press the lock button on the arm rest?I bought a fully loaded Grecale Modena last month in Ft Lauderdale and I have been having a number of noticeable electrical glitches and inconsistencies. Tonight sitting in my driveway the horn and lights "out of the blue" went off. I am beginning to think this car is a lemon and might have some common heritage with the Fiats of the 1970's that always had electrical issues.
