Hi
New member with Trofeo Prima Serie on order arriving November 🤞
Currently a Porsche Macan GTS owner my second Macan and looking forward to the change to Maserati.
I’m coming from the Macan as well (2015 S) and am looking for something that hasn’t been rehashed for the past 7 years. Porsche has done a decent job of keeping the Macan relevant, but it’s just not enough to keep me on board for a second purchase. My father in-law has a GranTurismo 4.6 and it’s just a pleasure hearing that thing start up! Here‘s hoping the Grecale will fill the bill. Please keep us posted on the delivery and driving experience! P. S. I’m “macanS” on the Macan forum, signed up way back in December 2013😬

I agree with you. Was expecting a lot more with the new Gen 3 than what they did, guess everything being thrown at the new EV model coming, and yes looking a bit old now. As for tech they are so far behind now but both of mine have been good cars. I'm also on the Macan forum UK as EDZ.

Hi.
Firstly I was lucky enough a couple of weeks back to be in Modena Italy on business and actually had the opportunity to see the pre production press Grecale Trofeo in Maserati's showroom in the flesh. I was very impressed with the luxury and finish and IMO far superior to the Macan, has all the latest tech and found it to be very comfortable. The performance figures seem impressive on the Trefeo also, most reviews that are not written by Porsche enthusiasts but independent none biased people are good, along with a more modern look. The Grecale is what I thought the new Gen 3 Macan would had been more like, but Porsche are now lacking behind big time with the Macan against new arrivals. As mentioned above the Macan is looking old and so far behind in tech etc, have found the Macan very much lacking in rear passenger space, but have just put up with it, that is until till now I have found an alternative "The Grecale", and not wanting to get a larger SUV as the Cayenne or Levante. Basically for me it's ticking all my boxes and I have looked long and hard for a replacement for the Macan with up to date look, tech and passenger space, as this could be my last ICE car before EV take over.

Welcome to the forum guys! @EDZ @GrecaleNYC What stands out to you the most about the Grecale compared to your Macans?
Great question Trident! For me, style, I’ve always had a Maserati “fetish” and now there’s a car that’s as practical as it is beautiful and has some performance chops as icing on the cake. My first car was a ‘74 Alfa Spider, so Italian cars have always seemed to turn my head. I’m hoping to afford the Trofeo to be guaranteed that unmistakable Maserati exhaust note, but if not, hoping the four banger in the Modena has at least a decent exhaust note.

Hi Everyone. Grecale Trofeo in Bianco Astro on order. Trading in my 2020 Macan GTS which just never worked for me. Was in the shop several times for issues (all warranty), and the look just is tired and sooooo over no song advance button on the steering wheel!

Anyone know the difference between Bianco Astro and the Cangiante? The photos are not good on the website. $9k upcharge just not an option with those photos!

Hi and welcome.
Seems to be a few of us changing from Macan to Grecale. I know a few others that are doing the same and most of us for the same reason. How long is your wait for you to get the Grecale ?

I had the Macan in in this dolomite silver that I came to hate as it looked baby blue. I went with Astro but considered matte grigio (the chip wasn't exactly what was on the website). Apparently both new colors. Here is a pic of the three with matte grigio left, the astro in the middle, Porsche dolomite on the right.

Thanks for the photo @mbo222 .. I have an S in Rhodium silver which is very blue. I always wanted GT silver (best silver ever) and even dolomite on the later models is still too blue of a silver for my taste. Astro looks nice and clean but still a very light shade of silver, almost white (which I hate) but will be interesting to see in person. Kinda liking the Grigio (if not to dark in person), volcano grey on the Macan never looked good to me.

Current 19 Stelvio TiSport owner. Looking Levante for a while, but wanted smaller, (Stelvio, Macan, M), size. The new Italian Wind caught my attention. Too Many Choices. Trofeo Or Modena. Heard Maserati’s Folgore 1200 hp sound. The Grecale Folgore is supposed to have 500 hp. Want to see where chips fall,..or rather fail. New tech, New problems.
