What safety features are not included in the special edition? Dealer said it had all safety options but I feel the driver safety option for $3100 is not included?

Welcome to the forum.

What makes you distrust what your dealer has told you ? And what makes you feel that all options are not included ?
This is based on the UK Trefeo Primaserie, only 4 of which came to the UK and I picked up mine just over 3 weeks ago.

It comes with absolutely everything available on the UK configurator and even things not even available on the UK configurator, every option there is and every safty option included.
Also Included : Luggage compartment rails, adaptive rail divider luggage organiser, luggage net, battery charger/maintainer, boot/trunk mat rail version, Projected logo door lights (puddle lights) etc.

There is a separate specification sheet just for the Primaserie that your dealer should be able to supply you with, as did my dealer in the UK before I ordered.
Hmm mine didn’t come with those things in the us. And the options for safety on the screen doesn’t show some of the extended safety options such as traffic sign , active driving.

Hi DMP

Congrats on your car purchase by the way, makes your comments clearer as I thought you were just looking to buy.

I know both those options are working on my car, definitely reads traffic signs and displays "Work zone and temporary speed limits" etc when entering road works, unsure if it is actually displayed in safety options. Can't check at the moment as I'm out of the country working, but will try and remember to check when I return.

For reference - our Modena has the Level 1 infotainment system using GPS location data for road speed limits - not camera recognition. Works really well and hasn’t failed us yet + recognises & informs Temporary / Work zone / Average / Variable speed limits. Don’t know how but guess the system must receive real-time information?

The warning Beeps do get annoying, but good for the driving license.

Tip - the loudness of the warnings + navigation directions can be controlled by pressing the volume control on the back of the steering wheel while a direction or beep is in progress. Unfortunately, this volume is not saved for future journeys.
Sorry I wasn’t clearer in my original posting. I never post on forums.
the dealer also just told me the apple car play has glitches . You have to occasionally (once a day for me at least) disconnect your phone and reconnect for all functions of apple play to work.

Thank you for the information! If it isn’t too much trouble please let me know when you are back home!

I am going to see a similar vehicle in Canada. How are you enjoying it? I am 6ft 3 and hope I will feel comfortable in it.

I love it so far!! I am 5’1” so can’t give insight into how comfortable you would be in seat.

Hi Binkyjean

I'm 5ft 11 and have no issues with fit and comfort. As DMP above, I love it and have had no issues whatsoever with my car everything works as should and no problems at all. I am looking forward to returning to the UK next week after being away for a while working and climbing back into it, such an enjoyable drive.
What i dont like as driving position is the steering wheel is sitting to low even in the maximum upper position.
Both me and my wife had the same feeling that the steering wheel is sitting on our lap, even if the seat was maximum down in my case and only a liitle up for my wife
I'm 6ft 1 inch and my wife 5ft 7 inch
So does the steering wheel have both telescopic and up and down adjustments that aren’t helping the issue?
Yes.

What is your opinion about the steering wheel position?
Could it be that 1-2cm more space of adjustment to an upper position could have been better?

I won’t be trying it until tomorrow.
Did the test drive today. Unfortunately the vehicle will not be right for me. The steering wheel does not telescope close enough to me. The seats were very unimpressive - headrest leans too forward, overall uncomfortable and too tight on hips.
The sales rep told me the seats in the Modena that I tested are the same as the Trofeo. Is that correct?
