I just thought I would share what turned out to be a great hand over collection day and a few pics of the new car.
Well after what was a long frustrating and stressful time over the last thirteen and a half months with ten cancelled and delayed delivery dates, the day finally came.
I didn't seem to be excited at all, maybe due to the past year or so and actually seeing it about ten days earlier in the work shop in the raw inspecting the delivery damage which just added to all the frustration that I already had. But my son well and trully made up for that he was super excited, this was the first time he had come with me to collect a new car, it was seeing my son so excited that gave me a buzz.
We arrived at the dealership which turned out to be what was a real super sunny day one of the first this year. There it was in a prominent roped off position in the showroom covered in the usual black silk shroud awaiting the big reveal. Having been met by my sales executive and the dealer principal we sat in a nice comfortable area with coffee, biscuits and even Easter eggs. Having recovered from our journey and enjoyed what was a fantastic coffee the show began

Big unveil and I see it for the first time in pristine shinny condition and now I'm feeling much better and much of that past frustration begins to drain away, and I start to feel a little excitement.
Paperwork all done a nice Maserati bag handed to me filled with Maserati branded goodies, and a nicely presented special bottle of Grapper 🥂. Car basics all explained open boot which has even more goodies (freebies) in it, I got more freebies than Iv'e ever had from any dealer on new purchase.
Anyway showroom doors slide back and we drive out into that lovely sunny day. The drive home was great and first impressions of the car is that its a super luxury well present car and a fantastic drive, it has so far met with my expectations, will post more on the car once I get a few miles under my belt. 👍 All photos taken by my son.
